Who knew?

About six years ago, I was invited to speak at a gathering of women, convened by Eve Ensler (Vagina Monologues) at the Omega Institute in upstate New York. It was a very cool weekend, with women of all backgrounds, from many continents and even political persuasions in attendance. I was honored to be on the podium.

That was a long time ago and the memory of it faded until a friend emailed me and asked, “Did you know this was online?”

I didn’t know and watched it.

Once I got over myself (Why didn’t I wear lipstick? Why didn’t I smile?) I decided to share it. This I believe, still and always.      http://vimeo.com/5127406
