La Tienda Roja

The Red Tent has been out of print in Spanish for a few years now. Today, I received copies of the newly-released edition, published by ViaMagna Ediciones.

I don’t read much Spanish, but I dearly love the look and sound of the dedication in this beautiful language: Para mi hija Emilia

“Benditos sean vuestros ojos … “

    Hello Anita,

Where can I find La Tienda Roja? I’ve been looking for it for a couple of years now to give to my mother. I know she will love it as much as my daughter and I do!

I just placed the order. Thank you so much! It will make a lovely Mother’s Day present.

When I gave The Red Tent to my daughter to read she was in her second year of HS. She was enjoying the book so much she began to talk about it with her classmates, before long, the entire class was reading it!

Thank you so much for giving us such a masterpiece.

Anita, I just want to thank you for writing such a beautiful and well documented story. It has helped me put many pieces of our biblical stories together. Actually, I am listening it from a CD and Dinah’s voice allows me to follow her with my imagination. What a great artist you are. I am part of a teacher’s book club, “Reading is Divine” and I can’t wait for our meeting.

Alas, Pilar. The book is out of print entirely. My American publisher is seeking someone to rerpint it in Spanish. Please write to a Barcelona publisher… tell them there’s a market.
    Nothing else I can do!

Oh Anita, that’s so unfortunate! I’ve been searching everywhere for the Spanish version! I just finished my English version and absolutely loved it, so I wanted to give it to my boyfriend’s mom for her birthday! However, she cannot read in English very well! What a bummer! If you do find a Spanish publisher in the future, I would love to know!

Thank you so much for this beautiful novel!
